Don’t let pride or arrogance live in your heart!

Wednesday, November 11th, 2009

Hey Guys,
It’s me Sophia again. I just remembered one of the lessons that I learned in my book, A Heart Ready to Fly! When pride is in your heart it is like a stinky peacock lives int here……………..nasty. That happens to me when I get thoughts in my head that say things like: “Hey Sophia, you’re so much better than so-and-so.”
“You’re so much smarter than Luke.”
“Or you’re so much sweeter than so-and-so.”
When that happens, I’ve just got to admit these bad thoughts to God and He will clean up the stinky peacock from my heart. The best part is when my heart comes out clean from the “heart wash.” To see what I mean, you’ve got to check out my book, A Heart Ready to Fly!

Have a joyful, unstinky heart!

Who can you trust?

Tuesday, November 10th, 2009

Hey Guys,
It’s me Sophia again. Who can we trust with our deep secrets? Things are getting kind of wierd at school. Some girls want to know important secrets about you so that they can blab them all over the school. For example, one girl keeps asking me who I have a crush on. The truth is I don’t have a crush on anyone yet. But my one friend told this girl who her crush was. Then “Little Miss Blabber Mouth,” who said that the secret was safe with her, blabbed it all over the school. THis reminds me of a chapter in A Heart Ready to Fly! We need to be careful who we trust. Someone may seem trustworthy but be careful………………..if a “blabber mouth” lives in the person’s heart, your secret is not safe.

Check out lessons like this one in the first Giggleheart Adventure …………….A Heart Ready to Fly! In this book, about my life, you and parents and even grandparents will learn cool things about what is in people’s hearts is so important.

Bye for now. I’ve got to run.

What our hearts say!

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

Hey it’s me again, Sophia (the 8 1/2 yr old Giggleheart),

Chapter 2 in A Heart Ready to Fly! talks about how God cares more about what our hearts say than what we look at on the outside. That also goes for what words we speak. Have you ever kown anyone who says nice words but you know they don’t mean it? Well God knows what is in a persons heart better than we do ourselves………..wow, I better let God’s Word examine my heart so that it doesn’t start to stink with bad things.

I’ve got to go for now.
